I couldn’t have the dreads, which made me sad.

So I had a fluff around with some dye and now I feel much better.

So, very sadface. I had to take out my dreads two days ago. One because fibro just makes everything worse and they gave me headaches and hurt my neck because I’m that damn weak and all sorts of shit that I could have totally dealt with because I’m stubborn… but the main reason was that, again because of this fucking illness, there would have been no way to have made and installed them by the cup. I could do maybe two or three a day, let alone installing them. I have enough trouble holding my arms up to do my makeup -_- My hand muscles are SO sore and my fingers are always sore as it is, but ugh, they’re just so stiff. I don’t feel like the pain would be worth it. I’ll just curl my hair, and rock the top hat thing. It’ll be fine.

I thought they looked so nice, even if they weren’t all finished. Oh well, one day.

So I’m a bit depressed, stupidly, because I was really excited about it. And now I’m up at 4am because my mother made me sleep all day (I’m not even going to bother explaining that, just shit about medication side effects) and I am fucking doing my fucking hair. Not pastel shades, I decided, but something completely fucking different. 

I chose that last pic because it looks like I have no eyebrows. My brother only noticed today that they were white, and he’s been around me since I did them, wtf my family pay no attention. He shaved his head today, it’s so short you can see the shine of his scalp. Oh, Jack XD

And then there’s the side effect mum keeps thinking if the valium, but it’;s not, it’s the increase of lyrica. Double vision, and blurred vision. SO FUCKING ANNOYING. I have to close one eye to see properly, and even then it’s all weird looking, and I’m so fucking uncoordinated. I hate my life, the only good thing about it are the people in it. 

I also bought some more BB cream, because mine expires soon. I shouldn’t have used it for so long and I can’t believe the tube lasted me fore three years but still. I actually bought two, Missha M Vita BB Cream, and Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream, because I watched/read many pros and cons about both couldn’t decide. I got them from here, and I only bought the small sizes because I have to save, but I need my BB creaaammmmmm. I use it every day ;-; And that Garnier ‘BB cream’ is a load of crap, not even close to the real thing. It makes me break out, I’m in recovery mode from using it. Asshole. Mum likes it though, so that’s good! Money not wasted.

Speaking of ebay; When I bought my micro lopp extensions, I originally bought i-tips and micro beads, intendint to do it myself. They emailed me three days after I paid for them, on the 28th of sept, and told me the colour I bought wasn’t in stock in the i-tips, but would be back in stock on the 30th. They said I could either wait or that that they could send out the easy loop versions. Since it was express post and it was essentiall the same thing and even easier, I though wthef not and said to send the easy loops. They didn’t send them until the 4th, so I could have just waited for what I wanted anyway, which put me in the shits.; The product I recieved was blegh, and the bonds were messy and split in  my hair. I emailed them nicely explaining all of this and asking what kind of feedback they thought they deserved after that. And now they’re sending me the i-tips and microbeads for free. Which I feel a bit guilty about. I agreed, but I feel guilty. I don’t even know.

Anyway, I’m getting sick of closing one eye, as I can only close the left eyelid (which is shit, but I have horrible eye-area muscle controls, I can’t even raise an eyebrow, which always outraged me.) but ANYWAY. tired and blegh and hair and asian cosmetics and shit.

One week until Melbourne! YAY!!

So I’m like… 1/5 or so through my dreads. I’m installing them as I make them because itls funner for me that way, otherwise I’m slaving away all day for like, three dreads and then I have to wait a million years to even put them in, and that takes way longer than if I just do it as I make them. So I make three or four, then put them in, just going around in layers on my head. I put some on the top first so it didn’t look like I have some weird dread mullet. Drullet. I don’t know. Anyway, this way I can pull it back into a ponytail and it looks okay. Anyway, so the top/front will be grey, grey and blonde blend, and grey blond and purple blend, some blended more than others. The bottom layers will be a moderately bright lavender. The site said lilac but that was a lie…lac. LOL PUN. And so bleh, I have ti blend it with some blonde, which I didn’t buy much of, or some grey, which I bought even less of. Something worth saying is that I like dreads to look trashy and messy like a hippy, so I reckon I’m going okay. I’ll probably take them out after the races and do my roots, then put them back in after a good re-sealing. 

After I figured out that my steamer wasn’t getting enough heat through them I devised a way to EMPOWER my steamer, and that is use flat against a towel, which works wonders and my latest dreads are pretty fucking toight. Which kind of shits me because I’m starting to like the looser ones. Going to buy a heap of blonde and grey ones and blend them all together, and try the crochet method, that can look pretty wicked.

And you know, I’m really disappointed Lisa didn’t get booted off ANTM, her personality drives me insane. Or Ms. ‘candid’ bitchface. All I see when she comes on screen is bitchface and all I hear is bitching coming from her dang bitchface. WHAT THE FUCK IS HER NAME. Not even worth a google search. Maybe she’s lovely in real live but srsly grr.

This started out as something entirely different and turned into something a bit too ambitious for 3am. Went for a mad hatter sort of thing but I had no plans and so I might try it again… knowing half of what I’m doing might help for better results, I’m not too happy with this.

How neat are my new contacts? Not only am I at 20/20, but they’re also a little bit more exciting than my usual browns. That’s actually what they look like, I shit you not, they’re insanely realistic and natural. Fooled my parents, who raised me, and these things changed my fucking eye colour. THANKS GUYS.

sweet jeeesus I have so many tabs open and I can’t type straight because I’m so tired. ANYHEW, my nails at the moment. Nothing impressive as far as my usual exploits go, but! BUT! NAIL POLISH HOLY GRAIL MOMENT. I was at the chemist getting MY DRUGGGGSSSSSSAAARRRGHHHHH and I found this Rimmel ‘Lycra Pro’ Matte Finish. My last ‘matte’ topcoat was a cheapie, and I say cheap but what I really mean is $3 less than this one, and it was much more of a gloss-lessener than a matte topcoat.

Firstly, the brush is a wide, flat brush, like… a filbert brush as I call it, I dunno, but whatever, AWESOME. Good work Rimmel. And second, the matteness is 100% matte. MMMHMMM.

This Rimmel shit is amazing and it would matte Lady Gaga.

I was taking photos and Chris just opened the door and tried to kiss me while I was waiting for the timer to go off XD I’m just standing there like a friggin’ idiot, still holding the remote outstretched. Most romantic picture we have, rly.

How I mix my silver dye

I thought I’d film this while I did it, because it’d give me something to do later if I wanted to upload is. It was actually quite fun to do it, a bit tedious, but I think the best part was putting Mogwai and Jon Hopkins in a beauty how-to video. Those beautiful lads <3 Marvin is pretty happy he gets some show-time. I love my owl tattoos, it’s a bit stupid sometimes, I’m sorry XD

Anyway, so I hope someone finds it helpful, even if it just gives you the courage to start mixing your own colours, because that in itself is pretty damn pleasing.
