So mum re-did my roots last night and we re-coloured my hair. I tried something a little different this time, doing two different colours. The front turned out beautifully, it’s a nice My Little Pony pink. It’s Directions Lavender, and I mixed it with some of the Directions Pastel Pink I had, and then diluted that about 1:4 with dye:conditioner. I then put the rest of the pastel pink on my hair, and that didn’t go so well. It’s a cute colour that probably would turn out better if I fucking drenched my hair in two pots, because one pot only just coated it. It’s still really nice, and a cute prawn orange-pink. I’m going to do it over with Directions Carnation Pink when I get my new set of dyes in. Over-all I’m please with my first Directions experience. It’s not different to the other vege/foamy dyed I’ve used, and we’ll see how it fares washing out, however I put colour in my hair often enough not to worry much about it washing out >.> This fortnight I’ve bought Turquoise, Carnation Pink, and Rose Red. I have almost a whole tub left of the purple I used this week so I’ll top this do up when my new pink arrives.
I give the Lavender 5 stars, probably the nicest purple I’ve used so far, it’s my favorite kind of purple - a red based purple. The Pastel Pink, unfortunately, wasn’t the colour I was after. It’s not for people wanting a pastel pink, it’s more of a peach/orange. I still give it 3 stars, it’s really cute, but applies/dyes a bit patchy.
YAY HAIR. Also, behold my crazy bendy hand! Hypermobility FTW! Until you get older and it turns into arthritis and you cry. YAY!
I am bored. My computer has died and is in for repair, so I’m using My Man’s laptop. This is my sick, tired, and bored face. I’ve eaten all my biscuits and apples, and I don’t want to sleep more because I won’t sleep tonight.
Hair: Dying it two colours next time, once my order arrives. I’m happy with how this lot has faded, even if it did colour quite unevenly… despite my efforts. I love having purple hair but I’m gonna try adding some pink at the front to spice things up a bit and keep me entertained.
Tattoos: I should be getting my half-sleeve done in the next month. It’s owl themed, and I’m really happy with the guy doing it. He seems to really get what I want, even if I’m not so fussed on what it is, so long as it’s my very own owl. I was like, ‘YEAH OWLS ‘N FLOWERS ‘N TEMPLES ‘N SHIT. Go crazy man.’ Chris said it’s okay to go nuts with my tax return but I still feel guilty. Hopefully it won’t be too expensive.
Fibro: After a row of good days I’m feeling pretty low. Aches and just this… sick feeling. I feel tired and dizzy and heavy and just gross. Having said that, the few days I did feel good, I felt really good. I really think this medication is doing it’s job, it’s just up to me now, and working with my physio to get some level of predictability. That way I can start working again, and get back to Melbourne. Start life properly with Chris, and go places. I’m really excited and ready for it, but I’m frustrated that I’m held back by… well, myself. Not in a way that I can’t fix, I guess, which is the good thing. It’s just really hard and makes me sad sometimes, like today.
SO THAT WAS MY DAY.
I found the exact colour I was after today. It’s Crazy Color’s lavender. I’m pretty sure it is, I just saw the colour and cried tears of a red based purple. I wish my hair grew this colour. I did a 10 minute bleach bath to get rid of as much of the purple I already had in, which was a blue based purple with a candy pink over the top (which worked well, but two fuck mixing two dyes if I can get one) and the lavender is much lighter and will fade more evenly. I also got a protein treatment (Redken ftw) which made my hair orgasm, and you think I’m exaggerating but you don’t even know. My hair feels like a kitten dipped in silk that has been dried by the breath of virgins wearing mink coats, sitting atop a mountain of cashmere goats. Yeah, a fucking goat mountain. YOU DON’T KNOW UNLESS YOU’VE BEEN THERE.
Aside from that, I’m finding my two new nose buddies are healing nicely. I’ve had no pain whatsoever from my septum, unless you count the actual piercing, which was more of an intense pinch than anything. It actually freaks me out how it doesn’t hurt or sting, or feel weird. Like I was born with a ring in my schnoz. My right nostril is gorgeous, I love the way it sits and I’m thinking of having my left one done to sit a bit better. We’ll see.

Dyed my hair again today. I just put a pink dye over it to give it more of a fuchsia-purple. All is well as far as hair goes now.
I vogued it up today, and now I feel sick. I hope Chris likes them, I did them at his request ;P He deserves it, poor babe is at work for 12 hours almost every day. So here’s to you <3
